Good Dog C3 is managed and directed by Ashley Good, a published Stanford biologist and animal psychologist.
Good has a Master of Science in Ethology (animal behavior) with a thesis specialty in the human-canine bond. She has worked extensively Dog Training at Marin Humane in N. California and has been training in the San Francisco Bay Area to be Canine Good Citizens (per AKC standards).

“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive.” - Gilda Radner (comedian)

Ashley has devoted almost a decade of her life to biology, particularly her research on honey bees. A few years ago, she published her findings in the journal PLOS One and is now in their top 25% of cited authors. Shortly thereafter, she deferred medical school acceptance because she found joy working with children and animals. This decision was further inspired by her years of service with animals at Marin Humane and Wildcare and as a full-time academic tutor.

A Master of Science graduate, Ashley’s culminating project focused on the human-canine bond and how trends reveal an emergent zoöpolis: a place where humans and animals can co-habitat and share public space. Her coursework at Bergin University and an extensive literature review (compiled while undertaking her thesis) allowed her to embrace the socialization of both human and canine species...hand to paw.

More than that, Ashley is as a professional wedding emcee/DJ with a previous career in the radio industry as an on-air announcer. Concurrently, she has helped (literally) hundreds of Bay Area students succeed via academic guidance and expertise.
